About Allen
Hi! I'm Allen Gu and I'm a third-year Doctor of Medicine student at the University of Melbourne. Prior to this, I completed a Bachelor of Science (Hons), also at Melbourne, with my Honours year done at the Walter+Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research.
My interests are two-fold. On the medicine side, haematology and oncology are very attractive, but I'll be forever drawn to maths and computing, my original passion. I'd like to marry these two fields in my future practice as a clinician-researcher.
I started this blog in 2021 as a dump for random stuff I find interesting.
